PRIVACY POLICY

We believe in being straightforward about what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we don't sell your data, we don't misuse it, and we only hold onto it for as long as we need to.

Plain language summary: LIQUIDBULLET Studios only collects information you voluntarily give us — through our contact form, careers form, or by emailing us directly. We do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any way. Information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not retained beyond what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

1. Who We Are.

LIQUIDBULLET Studios is an independent game development studio. We operate the website at liquidbulletstudios.com and are the data controller for any personal information collected through it. If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, you can reach us at info@liquidbulletstudios.com.

2. What Information We Collect.

We only collect information that you provide to us directly. This may include:

  • Contact form submissions — your name, email address, subject, and message content
  • Careers / job applications — your name, email address, location, portfolio links, cover letter, CV, and any other information you choose to include
  • Direct emails — any information contained in emails you send to us
  • Technical data — your IP address and the timestamp of a form submission, collected automatically as part of our form processing and spam prevention infrastructure (including reCAPTCHA, provided by Google)

We do not use tracking pixels, behavioural advertising scripts, or third-party analytics tools that build profiles on our visitors.

3. How We Use Your Information.

Information you provide is used only for the purpose it was submitted:

  • Contact enquiries — to read and respond to your message
  • Job applications — to review your application, contact you regarding your candidacy, and consider you for current or future relevant roles if you have consented to this
  • Technical/IP data — for spam prevention and basic security logging only; this is not used to track, profile, or identify individuals beyond its security purpose

We will never use your information to send unsolicited marketing, and we will never contact you for purposes unrelated to your original enquiry without your explicit consent.

4. What We Will Never Do.

We want to be explicit about this:

  • We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever
  • We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms
  • We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or target you with ads
  • We do not use your information for any automated decision-making or profiling
  • We do not transfer your data to any country outside of where it is processed without appropriate safeguards

5. How Long We Keep Your Data.

We only retain your information for as long as is necessary for the purpose it was collected:

  • Contact form enquiries — retained for the duration of the active correspondence, then deleted or archived securely once the matter is resolved
  • Job applications — retained for the duration of the hiring process. If you are unsuccessful, your application will be deleted within a reasonable period after the process concludes, unless you have consented to us retaining it for future consideration
  • Technical/IP logs — retained only for as long as required for security purposes, typically no longer than 90 days

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

6. How We Keep Your Data Secure.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any personal information we hold. This includes:

  • All data transmitted via our website is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Access to any stored submissions is restricted to authorised studio personnel only
  • We use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent fraudulent or automated form submissions

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify affected individuals promptly and in accordance with applicable law.

7. Your Rights.

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — the right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Erasure — the right to ask us to delete your personal data
  • Restriction — the right to ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Objection — the right to object to our use of your data
  • Portability — the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@liquidbulletstudios.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and at no cost to you.

  • Google Fonts — used to load typefaces on our website. Google may receive your IP address as part of font loading. See Google's Privacy Policy.

These are limited in scope and not used to build advertising profiles.
